Independence Day Celebration

SMCS family celebrated 69th Independence Day with great zeal and enthusiasm.  School has paid a great tribute to our freedom fighters on this day.  Students and teachers put up their sincere efforts to grace this great day.  They decorated school beautifully with flowers and balloons.
Event commenced with the daily prayer dance followed by flag hoisting and National Anthem.  That was the moment which revived the patriotism in everyone’s souls.
After that a phenomenal cultural event was there that revealed out the true love towards the mother land, India.  The cultural event commenced with the Mother Mary Prayer followed by the lamp lighting by Principal Mr. John Vianney Sharma and Chairperson Ms. Shobha Sharma.
Students have showcased their talents in this event.  They have performed dances, songs with the true spirit of patriotism, enthusiasm and great joy.  Students rolled on wheels with their skates and shown their flexibility with the power Yoga which was actually mind blowing.
In the end, Sir Principal shared his words of wisdom with all of us which were truly motivational and inspirational.
The day becomes memorable for the whole SMCS family. 


Teenage Day Celebration @ Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital

Today(21.08.15) SMCS took participation in Teenagers Day was celebration at Pushpanjali Crosslay Hospital where Dr. Ruby Bansal, Consultant & Head, AIDS & Wellness Centre headed the talk on Adolscence & various safety measures to guide the children to deal with peer pressure & also to make them see life with positive attitude. A small Painting competition was organized in which Swati Singh of Grade XII achieved fourth position among number of participants. Mr. KK Aggarwal, Padam Shri winner shared his words of wisdom with the kids & also guided and motivated students to learn First Aid & CPR therapy. As per students words the workshop cum talk was really beneficial, interesting & knowledgeable.
